Target: 386
Build: 1.12.3
Summary: modprobe doesn't listen -qs
Product: Busybox
Version: 1.12.x
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: minor
Priority: P5
Component: Standard Compliance
AssignedTo: unassigned at busybox.net
ReportedBy: opalenzuela at gmail.com
CC: busybox-cvs at busybox.net
Estimated Hours: 0.0
Calling the modprobe command with the parameters -q and/or -s (so, quiet or
logging to the syslog) doesn't removes the output. In my case, I would need to
store the results of this call somehow, and hide it from the standard output.
By the way, I tried also with "modprobe -sq module > /dev/null 2>/dev/null"
without success :(
