vdr-1.4.0 compile against uclibc-0.9.28

Hi,

i'm trying to compile vdr-1.4.0 in a uclibc-0.9.28 chroot environment, but 
the compilation failed on some undeclared pthread_rwlock_timedwrlock' and 
'pthread_rwlock_timedrdlock'.

I saw a post on the ml from 2004 from a person with the same problem:

My question is:
- Is there some replacement function for the threading issue i could apply 
to the code of vdr?
- If not, is this a known problem the team is working on or is it ignored 
for a good reason?
