[uClibc]R_PPC_REL24: Compiled shared libraries with -fPIC!

Hi,
I building on powerpc. When I execute my program linked with shared uclibc I get the above message. From what I can tell, the message was there as a warning that support for R_PPC_REL24 was removed from uclibc.
Anybody knows why this is happening? If I try to run my program I either get the above message or segfault.
