telnetd: operation upon 3 telnet login failures

Hello,

I'm using busybox 1.25.1 for x86(32)
telnetd is used as telnet server.
Upon 3 login failures, I want to run something.

I think the 3 trials are handled in loginutils\login.c, line 525

Is there an elegant way doing this?
