It is wrong, as his solution will either trow out users which stuck on 
the kernel hotplug mechanism (or will not benefit from improvements), or 
block spreading newer technology to the majority (who stuck on using 
pre-build binaries).

... even (and hence) another and proven interprocess communication 
technique (named pipe, aka. fifos) would let the user select his wanted 
mechanism (the plug mechanism not the old suffering mdev behavior).
