busybox sysctl

Hi,

I'm getting  error when using sysctl -w.
for example :
# sysctl -w kernel.tainted=2
sysctl: error: unknown error 1 setting key 'kernel.tainted'

the entry 'kernel.tainted' exist in the /proc/sys

# sysctl -a
---snip----
kernel.modprobe = /sbin/modprobe
kernel.printk = 7       4       1       7
kernel.ctrl-alt-del = 0
kernel.real-root-dev = 0
kernel.cap-bound = -257
kernel.tainted = 1            
---snip-----

I'm using  busybox-1.01 and  linux-2.6.15.

Any suggestion ?
