How can I build BusyBox 1.1.0 deb package on a Debian 3.1 stable ???

Hello

I've just downloaded the BusyBox 1.1.0 source.
I've search how can I build the Debian Package ?
I'm on 3.1 Debian stable version. The latest official package for stable
is  0.60.5 ...

After make menuconfig  the  command :

#fakeroot debian/rules binary

not works because  ./configure doesn't exist ????

If anyone could give me clue
