Hi,

I am using Busybox to configure diskless client.

On execution of "ifup eth0" command on the diskless client, it gives an
error '/usr/share/udhcpc/default.script' not found.

Where I could find this script?

I found that it is part of 'udhcpc-0.9.8-7mdk RPM for i586
<ftp://fr2.rpmfind.net/linux/MandrakeCooker/2006.0/i586/media/contrib/ud
hcpc-0.9.8-7mdk.i586.rpm> rpm package.

As I am using Redhat Enterprise Linux server, the above package may not
get installed properly.

So I can't use this source. Right?

I found 'default.script' as part of a discussion on mailing list:

http://www.pantek.com/library/linux/lists/lists.debian.org/debian-boot/m
sg00390.html

I used it and my problem got resolved.

I just wonder about what is the expected source of availability of
'default.script'.

Shall the 'BusyBox' user get the 'default-script' from:

1.	get the 'default.script' from the 'udhcpc' rpm package for
'mandrake'

 OR

2.	get it from above mentioned mailing list

OR

3.	write its own 'default.script'

Am I missing anything to check the availability of the 'default-script'?

Regards,

Sachin Rane
