Betreff: Re: inetd[10688]: shell/tcp: unknown service
Hello,
next try, hope to sent all needed information:
node with / from ramdisk (initrd)
/lib nfs mounted from Server
/lib64 nfs mounted from Server
/bin nfs mounted from Server
/usr /nfs mounted from Server
busybox on ramdisk (initrd)
static BusyBox v1.00 (2004.11.05-17:59+0000) multi-call binary
When I start busybox inetd, i got syslog messages:
Sep 1 11:24:34 node-03-eth0 inetd[9730]: discard/tcp: unknown service
Sep 1 11:24:34 node-03-eth0 inetd[9730]: discard/udp: unknown service
Sep 1 11:24:34 node-03-eth0 inetd[9730]: daytime/tcp: unknown service
Sep 1 11:24:34 node-03-eth0 inetd[9730]: time/tcp: unknown service
Sep 1 11:24:34 node-03-eth0 inetd[9730]: shell/tcp: unknown service
Sep 1 11:24:34 node-03-eth0 inetd[9730]: login/tcp: unknown service
Sep 1 11:24:34 node-03-eth0 inetd[9730]: exec/tcp: unknown service
Sep 1 11:24:34 node-03-eth0 inetd[9730]: ident/tcp: unknown service
no useable service managed by inetd
When I start (debian) netkit-inetd, it works.
When I start (debian) inetutils-inetd, it works.
Configuration is not changed anyway, but works with "normal" inetd
and failed with busybox.
Any hints?
Best whishes
Jan Setzer
