md5sum returns 0 with "invalid format"

Hi,

I was using md5sum in a script and accidently had only one whitespace
instead of two between the checksum and the filename.

scripts want to rely on the returnvalue of md5sum, but wrongly formatted
.md5 files always end up in a return value of 0.

-w is a nice feature, but should also be reflected on the return value!

Matthias
