[BusyBox] Crond doesn't work

Using fallback suid method

It looks ok .... but ... crond doen't execute the command, why ? 
another thing...
/tmp/cron/crontabs # crontab -e
Using fallback suid method
crontab: chdir failed: root root: Not a directory

it's too strange... there is a file in /var/spool/cron/crontabs/root 
but the crontab does'nt edit it why ?
