[BusyBox] ctrl-c doesn't work

See the other responses, but before hacking your kernel, make sure you
have *exactly* the right stuff /etc/inittab,

  ::sysinit:/etc/rcS
  tty???::respawn:-/bin/sh

Replace tty??? with your serial port device name, whatever it is.  For
example, mine is ttyAM1 on a Sharp lh7a40x board.
