[BusyBox] 1.00pre10, uclibc and size ?

Hi,

I tried to compile 1.00pre10 and link with uclibc.
However, the size is about 600k with the default
selected command set and this is using shared library.
But if I opt for static version, the size is more or
less the same. Any reason why ?
