[BusyBox] error building ash on sparc and sparc64 with 1.0.0-pre2

Hello,

When building busybox 1.0.0-pre2 on a sparc32 or sparc64 machine running
Gentoo Linux, I receive the following error;


gcc -I./include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -Wshadow -Os
-fomit-frame-pointer -D_GNU_SOURCE -DNDEBUG     -c -o shell/ash.o
shell/ash.c shell/ash.c: In function `init':
shell/ash.c:1694: Internal compiler error in int_mode_for_mode, at
stor-layout.c:290 Please submit a full bug report,
with preprocessed source if appropriate.

Any suggestions?
