We've built openssh (and openssl libs and zlib, which it
uses) with uclibc. The libs (~200kb for libssl, about ~50kb
for zlib) are about as big as the binaries (ssh is ~230kb,
scp ~25kb). If you need something more compact, the uclibc
apps pages (http://www.uclibc.org/uClibc-apps.html) list LSH
(http://www.net.lut.ac.uk/psst/) as being supported with a patch.
No idea how big that is, perhaps you could tell us?
