[BusyBox] New topic: read command

Note: if there is a read command in busybox, I don't know about it.

What would it take to create a "read" that supported most of the 
options present in BASH 2.0.4 (most specifically, the "-t" option...)

Is this a good idea?

How would you go about overriding the shell's internal "read" 
comamnd with an external command?  The shell, in this case, 
would be ash.
